If i die by age 30

If you were to die at age 30, what would you need to accomplish in order to feel that you lived a full life?

Dying by age 30 is a really young age to die at. That would be only 16 more years that I had to live. Some people may think that is a lot, but to me it is a really short period of time. I would never be able to do all the things I have ever wanted to do in that short period of time.

The one thing I have always wanted to do is sky diving. I would never feel like i have lived a complete life untill I have done that one thing. Ever since I was little I have always wanted to go. Some people might think I am crazy but I would love to do that more than anything. Of course I would want to get married to that special someone that I would want to spend the rest of my life with (a BIG hunkin BABE) Of course it's not all about the looks but hey thats a bonus!

I just want to be able to acomplish all the things in life that I have made goals to acheive. Some may be a little crazy and far out there but i am going to make sure that I do every single one down to the last day I live. Whats a life without doing all the things that you want to do?

Hiding something

Sometimes because of pride or ego or a mistaken idea, one person may not confide in another or tell them the whole truth. Have you ever been in a situation in which you didn’t want the other person to know something about you? You had something you wanted to keep secret? How did you act? Did the other person realize you were hiding something? How did your behavior change the way they acted toward you?

Well that has happened to me before but I am not willing to share the experience and who was involved. When I have something to hide I don't show it at all becuase I don't even want people to question becuase I will never end up telling them about it. I hate it when you know someone is hiding something and they hint towards it and than never tell you. Its like they want you to know but they don't want to tell you. That really bugs me.

The other reason I neer show that i am hiding something is because one time my friend started figuring out that I was hiding something and she really wanted to know but I wasn't going to tell her. This made them pretty angry with me and now we are not the closest of friends just becuase of one dumb little secret.

Some people say that they tell their best friends everything. But this is probably not true. I don't think I could name a person in the world that doesn't have a secret to hide even from their very best friend. I mean I will admit that I have secrets that I don't even share with my best friends because sometimes I just don't feel cofurtable sharing even though I am so close to them.

My best Halloween costume

When I was about six or seven i dressed as a red crayon. Red was my favorite color. The costume was a full body suit that said crayola on it and i had a pointy read hat. I dressed like that with all my cousins. Except they were their own favorite colors like purple, pink, yellow blue and so forth. From what I can remember it was really fun. That was the first time my mom let me go trick or treating without a sibling or cousin that was older than me.
Another year I dressed as an army woman. My dad is in the army so he let me use some of stuff such as, camoflage paint for my face, a camo bandana and a camo hat. I thought I looked pretty awesome.
This year I am dressing up as tinkerbell. Sinse it already freakin snowed I am going to be so cold. So I am going to go to walmart and get me so green leg warmers. I was going to be a GI Joe but than i decided that I wasn't going to do that becuase the stuff i needed to buy for that was going to end up being quite a lot of money. But maybe i should have because if I was a GI joe than I wouldn't be so freakin cold!!!!!!

Top Ten Books Chosen by Teens

Out of the 10 there were to choose from I have only read breaking dawn so i chose that one. I think it is an excellent book to be in the top ten. I really enjoyed reading that book. I tink that the main reason it is in the top ten is becuase all teanage girls love that book becuase it is the perfect love story and everybody wants their own vampire/wearwolf.
I have to admit that when i read that story I wished that, that was reality. To be able to have someone that perfect and beautiful it's just hard to come by. The story is great but there a couple flaws. One is that Bella is so pethetic. Stephanie Meyer could have made her character so much better. Some may say that i say this just becuase I am jealous. But I'm not. Why be jealous of a fictional character? It's just that she doesn't know how to take care of her self and she is nothing without him. I think that just becuase a boyfriend leaves you doesn't mean your whole life and world are over. You just need to keep living life to the fullest.

Edger Allan Poe

It seems like reading Edgar Allen Poe stories around Halloween is a rite of passage for students in English classes. He wrote poems such as "The Raven" and "Annabel Lee" and stories like "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Black Cat", "The Fall of the House of Usher", "The Cask of Amontillado", "The Masque of the Red Death", "The Pit and the Pendulum", etc.If you have read Poe stories before, which ones have you read and what do you remember of them? Did you like them? How scary/creepy were they? I have never read Edger Allan Poe. So I don't know which of his books I would like. I think it is just a relief that it is not Shakespeare. I think just about everything is better than Shakespeare. I love Scary stuff like haunted houses and scary movies. But I have never really read a scary book.
The reason i have never read a scary book is because I don't really think i could get into it. I have this problem with reading and I can't really pay attention. I hear about all these people that can just read a story and the picture forms in there head. Well I am jealous of them because I sure can't do that. That is why I am such a slow reader because I try to read slowly so I can visualize everything in my head but it still doesn't really help me.
I am willing to give Edgar a chance as long as I can make sense of his poems and his stories.
I have heard that his writing can get a little creepy and that is good because the creepier the better. So we will just have to see over the next couple weeks if it is scary to me or not and if i can understand it or not. I am pretty excited though becuause I have never had an english teacher that has let us read scary stories around halloween time.

Pets point of view

"How do you keep making the lights go on and off?" your pet might wonder.Write about you doing something in your house...from a pet's point of view.

I have always wondered how humans make that box light up. And how they put little people inside of there. The thing that really bugs me is when they put the other little doggies in there are they are always barking and bugging me and no matter how loud i bark back to make them shut up they never do. I have always wondered how humans manage to do that.
And another thing I always here constant sound coming from differant rooms in the house that I can't explain. It's like a sound that moves up and down. Its not talking I'm pretty sure of that beacuse I know what talking sounds like. This is differant. There is some kind of object making noise in the background than you will hear a voice that moves up and down.
My favorite part about living with my humans is when they take me places. I don't know exaclty what they are called but it is so kind of object that has wheels on it that moves really fast. I love when they role down the windows and let me stick my head out the window and let the wind rush by with my tounge sticking out and my ears flopping in the wind. But then sometimes when I am in the car I hear that strange voice again moving up and down. It bothers me so bad that I don't know what it is.

Beauty unseen

Have you ever studied a skunk's eyes? Write about some item you find beauty in that many others might not.

Some people don't even think to look in a skunks eyes. They may be to scared to even look. I have never looked into a skunks eyes becuase I have never gotten close enough to one to see. Not becuase I am scared of them but because I have never gotten the chance to see one up close. The only skunks I have seen in my life time have either been in the back of a zoo cage so I can't see, too far away in the woods so I would never be close enough to see or dead on the road... Which is pretty sad when you see this.

There are many items or people that are really beautiful out there. I am not exactly sure what though. I can't really think of anything right now that is rare because of its beauty but people don't stop and see what they truly are. Maybe its beauty on the inside or outside. But what should truly matter is whats on the inside.

You shouldn't take for granted what people do for you. Even acts of kindness is beauty. When people say beauty they think that beuaty is just looks and stuff like that but they are wrong. Beauty can be all kinds of stuff mostly all the things that I listed. I think that everyone should be open to everybody and get to know them before you judge them.

Secret

Have you ever known a secret that you thought you should tell? Did you tell? If you've never experienced this, what do you think it would be like to know a secret that you think is dangerous?

I don't think I have ever known a secret that I would need to tell someone. I have heard plenty of secrets that I would love to tell all my best friends about it but i know that I can't betray the person that told me the secrets trust. I could say that I am a pretty good secret keeper but at times I don't slip up. But hey I'm only human.
If someone told me a secret that might be in some way dangerous I don't think I would really know what to do. I wouldn't want to betray their trust but than again if it is dangerous you might need to tell someone about it. That is a very hard decision to make I think. It's a choice between betraing their trust and maybe even saving a life. If you tell someone about it they may thank you some day for it but they may not forgive you.
Me personaly I like to keep friends secrets to myself because that is the way I earn their trust. And the more they trust you the more they tell you. It's all fun to always know whats going on with your frineds and you might even feel left out if your friends don't tell you stuff... That is why I think it is good to be trusted becuase your friends will tell you more that way and it is good to know more.

Friar Laurences' perspective

Write a journal from the perspective of Romeo, Juliet, Friar Laurence or Nurse. It should take place after the end of Act II when Romeo and Juliet have been secretly married. Remember, you ARE this person writing what they would be thinking and feeling at this time.

I choose to be writing from the perspective of Friar Laurence.

I have wed Romeo and Juliet. From here on out I do not know eactly what will happen to them. I am afraid of what the two rivarly families will be very angry with this and it might start something very bad. But at the same time I am hoping that it will bring the two families together and help them realize that what they are doing is stupid and that they should not continue on fighting just because of what happended to their ansestors.
Romeo and Juliet are very happy indeed. I could see it in their eyes. They were very thrilled and excited and very in love but also they were probably fretting about facing their families when their families have found out what they have done. They are also hoping the same as me. That by getting married maybe it will bring their families together.
It is a sad day that I had to marry them in secret but Romeo told me that he is convinced that if they were to tell about their marrige it would not go through. There would be no way it would happen. And i believe him. I have seen what their families do and how much hatred is between them. It it just nice that once I get to see at least two of them getting along and loving eachother

Fate

9th grade:Do you believe in Fate? Are there certain things in life that, once set in motion, are inevitable; things that cannot be stopped once they are started? The story of Romeo and Juliet implies that the path of their love and what happens to them is part of Fate's plan. Do you think this is possible?

I don't know exactly if i believe in fate. Becasue some things can be stopped but some things you must let fate take ahold of it. You are able to choose what you want. Fate can't just decided that for you.
When people are in love and the say "it's fate that brought us together," thats not entirley true. I mean those people that find their sole mates the ones that they will be happy with for the rest of their lives you can say that it is fate. Most things are meant to be but that doesn't exactly mean that it is fate.
Sometimes it is good to let people believe in fate because that is one of the things that helps them go on living their lives. People can belive in it or they won't belive in it. That is their choice. Me personaly I don't really belive in it. It's all fun to believe in it but that doesn't necissarily mean that it exists.

Juliets point of view

JULIET:

Tonight my parents are to have a party tonight and I can't wait for it. My mother wants me to marry Paris but I am not so sure about him, I am willing to consider him but I want to keep my options open. Paris will probably be at the party tonight and this will be my chance to get to know him better.

Part of me is wishing that tonight I will find that suitable man that I can fall in love with instead of having my mother and father set me up with my cousin Paris. I would rather like to be able to choose that man that I am going to spend the rest of my life with.

I have promised my mom that I would get to know Paris but I didn't make her any promises about marrying him. Why make a promise that you are not certain you can keep? What if I don't like him the slightest little bit and I already promised my mother that i would marry him? What would I do than? I would be trapped in between and not no what to do. That is why I don't make promises that I know i might not be able to keep.

Does True Love Exist?

Define true love. Do you believe it exists?(Hint: have you ever seen it? give an example. Why do you believe/not believe in it?)

I beileve that true love does exist. You just have to find it first. When you look at people that say they love there girlfriend/boyfriend or spouse but they don't show it you know it is not true. If you are to love someone you must first show it before you say it.

You see teanagers that are between 13 and 15 that say they love eachother... in some cases this may be true but in others they are just saying that becuase they feel they have to. I believe that you can't really find true love untill you find that perfect man that will treat you like a queen and do anything for you without hesitation. That gentleman that will sweep you off your feet. You just have to be patient because he is out there somewhere.

You see young couples get married and than the next year or so they get devorced. This may be because they rushed into it and didnt' take time to find that perfect one. They may think that they love them but in reality they really don't.

Superpower

If you had one superpower, what would it be and why? (Hint: describe exactly what your power would be, why you would want that one, what you would use your power for, etc. Would you be good or evil? Would you use it just for fun or for a good cause?)

If I had a superpower I would want it to either be invisibility or flying.

Invisibilty because I think it would be awesome to be invisible because no body would know you were there and I don't think i would necisarily use it for good. I would probably use it to eaves drop and find out what people are saying behind my back.

The reason I would want the power to fly is becuase i have always wanted to fly. This power i would use for good. And if i had the power of flight than i wouldn't have to get in the car and drive when i went on trips i could jus fly on my own. That would be nice.

I guess if i could choose one more power it would be the power to run really fast! I would probably use this for just the fun of it. I am already pretty fast but i think it would be cool if I could go faster. I love to run and one thing that would make it even funner would be to run even faster than I already do.

Shakespeare

What comes to your mind when you hear the words, "Now we're going to read Shakespeare!" Do you cringe in fear? Do you giggle with glee? What past experiences have you had with Shakespeare to make you react the way you do?

If i hear those words I don't giggle with glee or cringe in fear. I think o crap this can't be good. I mean sometimes shakspere is fun to read but it doesn't make very much sence that is one of the big problems about it.

I haven't had to much experience with shakspere because most the english classes i have been in the teachers don't really care to teach or let us read Shakespere. If I knew more about the words they use and knew what they meant shakespere wound't be to bad to read.

I like a lot of Shakspere plays i have been to but some times they don't make sence I always have to at one point have my mom explain to me what is going on. I'm pretty sure that, that is the way that the books are too. Complicated words that I don't understand. So what i am trying to say is that i wouldn't do either i would be happy and a little mad because sometimes I don't get the stuff but if it is explained to me than I am fine with it.
